the ball in motion

Ok, rioteers. there is much to discuss.

First, if you haven't gotten your submissions in yet, DO IT! The deadline is tomorrow. I will let you in on a little secret- you can still submit after the deadline, HOWEVER, we will not be able to consider you for our first reading event if you submit after March 15th. We will keep your submission for consideration for our *pending* publication and any future readings we might be able to pull off.

Next, it is time to start gearing up for our Pittsburgh Reading Event. We are still waiting on the final details for the venue, but the *tentative* plan is to hold our reading THURSDAY, MARCH 30th, location TBA. The evening will be a fabulous gathering of writers, musicians, artists and anyone else interested in attending and will include readings of our selected submissions, a live band, cheap drinks and an all around good time.

So bring all of your friends and join in starting a paper riot in the Pittsburgh night.

Keep checking this blog for updates, or e-mail us at for more information or to get involved.

That's all for now!

"We have contraptions like computers that cheat you out of becoming. Bill Gates sats, 'Wait 'til you see what your computer can become.' But it's you who should be doing the becoming, not the damn fool computer. What you can become is the miracle you were born to be through the work that you do."
